About

Who we are

Welcome to Embracing Neurodiverse Minds, a space created with purpose, passion, and personal experience.

I’m Linzy Moore, MA, a Registered Psychological Associate in California and doctoral student in Clinical Psychology. I bring both professional training and personal insight into the work I do with families, children, and individuals who are navigating the complexities of neurodivergence, trauma, and relationships.

My clinical background includes advanced training and certifications in:

  • Neurodiversity-affirming therapy
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS)
  • Couples therapy & Gottman Method (Levels I–III)
  • Sex therapy & relational intimacy support
  • Sand tray and play-based therapy for children (ages 4–12)
  • Trauma-informed care & family systems
  • Parent-child bonding, gentle behavior support, and sensory regulation
  • Psychological assessments for autism, ADHD, learning challenges, and emotional functioning across the lifespan

But more than that — I’m a mother to beautifully neurodivergent children, including a toddler diagnosed with autism at just 17 months old and daughters with ADHD and sensory needs. That journey changed my life, deepened my calling, and ultimately led me here.

This space is more than a private practice. It’s a ministry of hope, education, and connection, a place for parents, educators, and individuals to feel seen, supported, and equipped.

Whether you’re looking for therapy, assessment clarity, parenting tools, or simply a space that affirms who you are without pathologizing your pain, I’m honored to walk alongside you.

🌟 I’m also working on my first book, written for parents raising neurodivergent kids with big feelings, sensory needs, and beautiful differences. The book blends clinical insight with personal stories to help families feel less alone and more equipped. Stay tuned — it’s coming soon. 🌟

At Embracing Neurodiverse Minds, we believe

Every child and adult deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported.
Labels do not define potential—strength, love, and faith do.
With the right support, connection, and understanding, healing and growth are always possible.
My faith in God is the foundation of this mission. It fuels my calling to serve, advocate, and walk alongside families like mine—families navigating a world that doesn’t always understand. You’re not alone here. You are seen, supported, and deeply valued.

Therapy services are provided by Linzy Moore, MA, Registered Psychological Associate (PSB #94028968), in collaboration with Licensed Psychologist Dr. Melissa Joslin (CA License #34446), in accordance with California Board of Psychology requirements.
