About

Who we are

Welcome to Beyond the Label — a space created with purpose, compassion, practical insight, and lived experience.

I’m Linzy Moore, MA, Founder and Executive Director of Beyond the Label.

I am a Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate) approved by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists to provide clinical psychotherapy services under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor.

I am also pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, building upon advanced graduate training in psychological assessment, neurodiversity, and evidence-based mental health care.

I founded Beyond the Label to create a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming practice where children, teens, adults, couples, and families feel understood, supported, and empowered. My areas of focus include autism, ADHD, sensory differences, executive functioning, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships, life transitions, and helping individuals better understand their unique strengths. My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with practical, strengths-based strategies tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Beyond the Label is a neurodiversity-affirming mental health practice dedicated to helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families better understand themselves while building the skills needed to thrive. We provide compassionate psychotherapy for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, autism, ADHD, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health needs. Our approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic interventions with strengths-based, sensory-informed, and practical strategies tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and neurotype.

My approach combines professional training with real-world understanding to help individuals and families feel more confident, supported, informed, and empowered in their everyday lives.

I believe therapy should feel compassionate, collaborative, and individualized—not one-size-fits-all. I strive to create a safe, neurodiversity-affirming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we work to build practical skills, increase self-understanding, strengthen resilience, and support meaningful growth while honoring each person’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals.

Specialized Support Topics

My background and experience have focused extensively on neurodiversity, autism, ADHD, sensory processing, executive functioning, self-regulation, relationship dynamics, and strengths-based guidance for individuals and families.

These focus areas help guide the educational resources, consultation services, practical tools, and neurodiversity-informed guidance offered through Beyond the Label.

PERSONAL CONNECTION:

Beyond professional experience, I also bring personal understanding of neurodiversity as a mother raising beautifully neurodivergent children. Navigating autism, ADHD, sensory needs, and daily life challenges within my own family has deeply shaped the way I approach this work.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel to search for answers, resources, and direction and how meaningful it is when things finally begin to make sense.

CLOSING:

Whether you’re seeking assessment-related services, consultation, educational guidance, parent resources, executive functioning strategies, or sensory-informed tools, our goal is to help individuals and families better understand neurodivergent experiences, identify practical strategies, and access meaningful resources for everyday life.

I believe neurodivergent individuals deserve environments, resources, and approaches that recognize and respect their unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world.

At Beyond The Label, I Believe

Every child, teen, and adult deserves to feel understood, valued, and respected in a way that honors their unique strengths, needs, and way of experiencing the world.

A diagnosis or label does not define a person’s potential. Greater understanding, practical resources, and individualized strategies can help individuals and families move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

With the right environment, practical strategies, educational resources, and accommodations, individuals and families can build confidence, improve everyday functioning, and better navigate neurodivergent experiences.

My faith in God is a foundational part of this work and shapes the way I serve, encourage, educate, and guide individuals and families navigating neurodiversity and everyday life challenges.

At Beyond the Label, we strive to create a welcoming environment centered on education, practical guidance, neurodiversity-informed resources, and collaborative problem-solving for individuals and families.
